About the event
The aim of this workshop is to build core strength and develop a sense of playfulness as we move through inversions and arm balancing poses.
Inversions and arm balancing poses offer a chance to remain present in the moment and cultivate a meditative state, where you can focus on the sensations in your body and deepen your breath to hold the poses. We will use the wall for support, gradually building the strength and connection needed to trust in your body.
These poses increase blood circulation, allowing for the distribution of oxygen and nutrients throughout the body, while also improving the drainage of the lymphatic system, boosting energy and reducing inflammation.
When we learn to connect with the muscles that support our spine, we gain greater mobility and stability. The goal is to take this awareness off the mat and into daily life, feeling rooted and trusting in your path.
It's important to approach the practice with curiosity, exploring and understanding your body from the inside without judging external outcomes. Learning how to fall with grace and have fun along the way is the best way to let go.
We will start with a guided Four Directions ceremony, followed by a vigorous Forrest Yoga practice, and end with a guided meditation and assistance during Savasana to end in beauty and bliss.
